I agree. I loved watching his judo. It was also great to seen help the injured guy from Cyprus of the tatami. Pity he lost in the semis. But exciting to watch! Peace!
I expected FONSECA to demolish ARAI, due to his experience, power and explosiveness but ARAI did amazingly well. I actually thought his first waza-ari could have been an ippon. ARAI is going to be a champion!
No way the first double sleeves uchi-mata was not a ippon! (and all the more that Fonseca bridged a little) Certainly the referee wanted to see this uchi-mata once again.
I think our friend RUclipsr Judo Highlight is right, he doesn't seem used to it. It's like in the Dojo, when a very strong opponent from another dojo comes for a randori. You know that perhaps you can surprise him once with a strange throw he may not know. But, it's your last chance. No doubt Arai won't fall anymore for that in the next years.
Bravo Jorge Fonseca, che nonostante perda da un giovanissimo, fa complimenti e saluta. Rispetto.
Very very nice indeed.
As always, great video. I really liked the joke about his game pattern.

More to come!

Arai clearly does not like sumi-gaeshi. 😄
